A single rose can be my garden... A single friend, my world.

Well, this is my first post in this year. So today I finally went back to school after 8 days of holiday (what a short holiday eh?) seriously, I need more holiday. I mean, six months of school replaced by a week of holiday is not fair at all. But it's okay, as long as there are friends, school would still fun.

Talking about friends, this post is actually related to it. Yes, friends.


What is the first thing that cross your mind when I say the word 'friends'? Well, if it comes to me, I'll say that the first thing that cross my mind is... fun. Yes. Friend is fun, right? They could make some jokes that will make you laugh out loud, or just laughing with you just because something weird around you, or make something stupid with you then laugh together, and many more. But, is that really what friends for?

Believe or not, friends sometimes know you more than your self. They just let you find it by yourself. They listen you, they give advice, but they don't force you. They don't solve your problem, but they do help you find the way to solve your problem. They don't give you love as your girl/boyfriend does, but they give you a strength that your girl/boyfriend couldn't ever give.

When you were doing something fun with your girl/boyfriend, do you realize that sometimes you don't care with them? They'll let you have fun with your love, they'll give you a loooong time, even not with them. But how when you're sad? or going down? They always be there. They care. They help you to get up. They give you support. They give you shoulder to cry on. They listen patiently. They never complain, they just listen, because they know that's the only thing you need.

For me, friends are everything. I could be the real me in front of them. No fake. And they are the only one who could accept me no matter how annoying I am, how stupid I am, how ugly I am, how poor I am, how crazy I am, or how beast I am. Isn't that just so sweet?

Friendship is a feeling of comfort and emotional safety with a person. It is when you do not have to weigh your thoughts and measure words, before keeping it forth before your friend. It is when someone knows you better than yourself and assures to be your side in every emotional crisis. It is when you can sleep fighting and get another morning with a better understanding. Friendship is much beyond roaming together and sharing good moments, it is when someone comes to rescue you from the worst phase of life. Friendship is eternal.

Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know what when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world take us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.

We are friends and I do like to pass the day with you in serious and inconsequential chatter. I wouldn't mind washing up beside you, dusting beside you, reading the back half of the paper while you read the front. We are friends and I would miss you, do miss you and think of you very often.

Dear friends, this is my wish for you: comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, and love to complete your life.
